Yes, Privé bookings are directly through Hyatt meaning you will get 5x points on stays and 9x points with your WOH credit card. You will also get eligible night credits toward Hyatt Status. However, if you book a free night promotion, you will not get credit for the free night (i.e. a 3rd-night free rate will give you 2 eligible nights).

Typically, Privé rates are equivalent to or better than the standard best available rate from Hyatt. Member rates or advance purchase rates can be cheaper than Privé rates, but may not offer comparable cancelation flexibility. Additionally, some properties offer free night promotions and other discounts through Hyatt Privé, which will likely always make sense to book over a non-Privé rate.
